SUMMER JOLLS...
Well, as our summer jolls amble to a close, we are now embarking on our incredibly demanding 'bootcamp' training regime for the start of the mammoth 'For Those About To Rock' 2010 tour with Livewire DC. We'll be rocking them in the aisles right down until Christmas, so hope to see you on the biggest tour we have undertaken to date!
MERCHANDISE Speaking of which, after severe (but deserved) berating from you lot over our woeful lack of merchandising, we've decided to get ahead of the game and offer THE OFFICIAL, beautifully crafted, egyptian-type cotton high thread count, hand counted 'FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK' tour t-shirt, which we be released any day now on the merchandise section of our website. Get yours in advance and STUN the other gig-goers when you turn up in your swanky new shirt before we've even got them out the box! They'll either think you've got 'special contacts'...or you've nicked it out the van! Seriously, take a peek on the merchandise page, they're well-cool...
SOLO SHOWS
We have also added some 'Limehouse only'' shows in the run up to Christmas for those who need a bigger blast of Lizzy. We have a welcome return to Crewe when we play at The Box venue on 5th November. We're also back at the Guildhall in Gloucester on the 26th November, and the Y theatre in Leicester will be getting a full show on the 27th November.
Yorkshire's barmy army then gets a special treat with a 'Limehouse only' gig when we return to the Town Hall in Ossett on the 3rd December. A great venue this one, and we are currently lining up a 'special guest'...Watch this space!
AUGUST GIGS
Thanks to all who turned out and made our August gigs so enjoyable. The North East never lets us down, we had a sell out over at theStudio in Hartlepool, and rocking night was had by all! This venue does a lot of good work for young people, and music in the local community, so please keep supporting it!
The night after we saw us play a private 'do' for the famous Vietnam War 'Huey' helicopter and its crew. Pilot/owner Phil Connelly and his team threw a great bash. Not only were there two Huey helicopters and several other US military vehicles on display, but also a presentation from local WW2 veterans, and the most stunning outdoor firework display (which dwarfed our own pyro display during the gig!).
The Bell Huey helicopter has been imported from the US, and restored to its fully functioning former glory. It has already been featured in a BBC documentary, and is now regulalry appearing at air shows around the country. Visit the website http://www.huey.co.uk/ for more info. on this incredible flying machine.

August also saw a welcome return to the Stoke area when we played the Queens Theatre in Burslem. It was a great turn out at this stunning venue. We were made very welcome by Steve and his staff, and hopefully this will become our regular venue in this neck of the woods after a couple of venue changes.

FOR THOSE WHO ROCKED...
A fantastic time was had by all at the Hawth Theatre in Crawley as we did a warm up show for the 'For Those About to Rock' tour 2010. Yes, Limehouse and Livewire DC blew the lid off this venue on Friday night. Great to jump aboard the 'rock 'n' roll train' again, and catch up with the livewire band and crew once more. Prepare yourselves for the start of the tour in September...
